Terms of Service

StudentHub is built for students aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, you should use it with the knowledge of a parent, guardian or teacher, and you must not enter payment details without the permission of the person who owns the payment method.

You may create an account with an email address and password, or with Google Sign-In. Provide accurate information, keep your password private, and do not share your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten or demean other students.
• Post sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise harmful content.
• Impersonate another person, school or organisation.
• Share other people's private information, or your own contact details in public content.
• Post spam, scams, malware or misleading links.
• Upload files you do not have the right to share, or files intended to damage devices.
• Attempt to break, probe or bypass the platform's security, access other users' data, or interfere with other users' use of the service.
• Use automated scraping or bulk collection of other students' profiles or content.
• Misuse the AI features to generate harmful content or to submit other people's personal data.

You keep ownership of the lessons, notes, questions, answers, team posts, messages and files you create. By posting content on StudentHub, you grant us the limited permission needed to host, store, display and transmit it to the people you shared it with, so that the platform can work. This permission ends for new use when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for having the right to post what you upload. Do not post copyrighted material — textbook scans, paid course material, films, images or music — unless you own it or are permitted to share it.

If you believe content on StudentHub infringes your copyright, report it through the in-app feedback or report option with enough detail to identify the content and your claim. We will review it and may remove content and act against repeat infringers.

Teams and team chat are for genuine student collaboration. Messages within a team are visible to that team's members. Do not arrange meetings with strangers, share personal contact details, or use teams to recruit for anything unrelated to study or projects. You can report content and users that break these rules; we may remove content, close teams or suspend accounts.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other students at risk. You can stop using StudentHub and delete your account at any time from your privacy settings.

StudentHub's learning library, lessons, Q&A answers and AI features are provided to help you learn. Much of the material is created by other students or generated by AI, and it may contain mistakes or may not match your syllabus or exam board. Check important academic information against your own course materials and teachers before relying on it. StudentHub is not a substitute for your school, and we do not guarantee any particular academic result.

Some features rely on other companies — embedded YouTube videos, Google Sign-In, Razorpay payments, AI providers, email delivery and cloud hosting. Links and opportunity listings may take you to external websites we do not control and are not responsible for. Their terms and privacy policies apply on their sites.

Pro is an optional paid subscription. Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We are actively developing StudentHub, so features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. If we change these terms materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app; continuing to use StudentHub after that means you accept the updated terms.

StudentHub is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by content other users post, by your reliance on educational or AI- generated material, or by interruptions to the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for our own fraud or for harm caused by our gross negligence.

StudentHub is operated from India and these terms are intended to be governed by Indian law. The exact governing-law and dispute-resolution clause, and the grievance contact required for online platforms, need to be finalised with legal advice before launch.
